Bengals Adding Former Steelers Tight End Zach Gentry to Practice Squad

Cincinnati now has 16 players on their practice squad.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are signing tight end Zach Gentry to the practice squad on Tuesday according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. 

He's spent the past four seasons in Pittsburgh after the Steelers took him in the fifth-round (141st overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft. 

Gentry has 39 receptions for 303 yards in 40 career games. He joins a tight end room that includes Irv Smith Jr., Drew Sample, Mitch Wilcox and Tanner Hudson.  

The Bengals currently have 16 players on their practice squad, which is the maximum allowed by the NFL. For a complete list, go here.
