Look: Samaje Perine Sends Farewell Message To Cincinnati
CINCINNATI — Samaje Perine's morphed into a beloved player for Cincinnati over the past few years. Now, he's off to play for the Broncos on a significant raise and bid farewell to the city on social media.
"Cincinnati, I just want to say thank you for accepting my family and I with open arms," Perine tweeted. "We couldn’t have asked for a better home these past four years. I will always have nothing but love for you."
Perine arrived from Miami in the middle of the 2019 season. He's been there from the ground floor of this rebuild as Cincinnati could field a completely brand-new running back unit next season.
This past season was arguably the best of Perine's career. He posted 394 rushing yards and 6 total TDs on 4.1 yards per carry, plus hauled in career-highs in receptions (38) and receiving yards (287).
