Look: Star Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson Shows Interest In Joining Bengals

Cincinnati has been relatively quiet in free agency so far.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals need a new safety next season, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson is showing interest in wearing stripes.

He tweeted a praying emoji when presented with a jersey edit by Jacob Haugh. Gardner-Johnson caught an NFL-high 6 interceptions last season despite missing five games due to injury.

Cincinnati may have to dip deeper into the pocketbook to land him, but the 25-year-old is a proven commodity on the backend.
