Look: Zac Taylor One of NFL's Longest-Tenured NFL Head Coaches Following End of 2023 Season
CINCINNATI — Following Bill Belichick's exit in New England, eight of the 32 NFL teams are now searching for a head coach. The six-time Super Bowl champion was the longest-tenured HC in the league before the move.
That means Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is tied as the seventh-longest tenured head coach in the sport:
1. Mike Tomlin (17 seasons)
2. John Harbaugh (16 seasons)
3. Andy Reid (11 seasons)
4. (tie) Sean McDermott, Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay (7 seasons)
7. (tie) Zac Taylor and Matt LaFleur (5 seasons)
Cincinnati is known to be patient with its head coaches and with two AFC Championship trips and a Super Bowl appearance already, Taylor has earned himself a long leash in the Queen City.
