Tee Higgins Being 'Really Patient' With 2023 Struggles

The wide receiver is gutting through a rib injury as the season wages on.

CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, like most of the offense, is playing poorly through six games, but he's ready to start stacking good outings with another week of healing for his rib during the bye week.

Higgins ranks 13th on the offense with a 57.3 Pro football Focus grade this season (min. 10 snaps). That number's marred by a career-high 17.3% drop rate.

"I'm really patient," Higgins told reporters on Thursday. "I'm gonna let it come to me, like you said, and so it's just a matter of time. I'm gonna continue to go out there and do what I do best. Try to go out there make key blocks, make key catches and things like that so."

Higgins has just four catches on eight targets over his past two games as Cincinnati looks for the whole offense to start playing close to Ja'Marr Chase's level for the rest of this season.
