Report: Hayden Hurst Signing With Carolina Panthers

Cincinnati's tight end room is pretty barren at this point in the free agency period.

CINCINNATI — Hayden Hurst is headed to Carolina with Vonn Bell.

Ian Rapoport reports the Panthers are signing the Bengals free agent tight end. Mike Garafolo confirmed the deal is for three years.

Hurst performed well on his one-year contract in Cincinnati and now the Bengals have to look elsewhere for production at that spot. Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox are also free agents.

The 29-year-old posted 52 catches for 414 yards and 2 touchdowns in his lone regular season playing for the Bengals.
