Haason Reddick Reflects on Journey Back to Arizona for Super Bowl LVII
PHOENIX -- Haason Reddick is playing in the Super Bowl, yet not in the way the Arizona Cardinals or their fans hoped.
Reddick has played a major role in helping the Philadelphia Eagles reach their second Super Bowl in six seasons. His ability to rush the passer - amassing 16 sacks in the season - is now known across the country.
He's certainly come a long way since first being drafted by the Cardinals with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Reddick was supposed to be part of a defensive revolution in the desert. As hindsight would prove, he was under utilized in nearly every aspect as an inside linebacker.
The Cardinals are now spectators to the biggest sporting event on this side of the planet with Super Bowl LVII hosted at State Farm Stadium. Reddick - who went to Temple and is now leading his childhood favorite Eagles - couldn't have wrote the story better.
