With three days of practice in the books at the 2019 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, scouts have a good feel for which players could be drafted, others who project as priority free agents and even had an opportunity to discover a few under the radar players who boosted their draft stock.

On Wednesday, new Oakland Raiders GM Mike Mayock made the trip down the west coast for an up close look at the 112 prospects in attendance. Earlier in the week, former Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie, a mainstay at the event in recent years, was also spotted meeting with several team representatives.

Below is a look at the top 10 rated prospects from this week’s practice sessions, along with the NFL Draft Scout 2019 All-NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Team:

The Top 10

  1. OG Hjalte Froholdt, Arkansas – A workout warrior who should continue his momentum from a strong week of practice over to the NFL Scouting Combine, as the versatile interior lineman stood out as the top prospect. Froholdt, who has experience playing center, practiced primarily at the two guard spots throughout the week.
  2. WR Olabisi Johnson, Colorado State – An exceptional route runner, Johnson flashed smooth feet and proved to be a fluid athlete who appeared to be playing at a higher level than the other wide outs in his group. He projects as a solid mid-late round draft pick based on how popular he was for team interview requests.
  3. DE Jamell Garcia Williams, UAB – Teams love a lump of clay they can mold and that is exactly what all the appeal is about with Garcia-Williams, who measured in at 6’7, 249 pounds. His length and athleticism are similar to that of Marcus Davenport, minus the upper body strength. While not expected to be chosen as high, his frame and upside should earn him a Day 3 grade.
  4. OG Phil Haynes, Wake Forest – The former high school basketball standout possesses a lean, compact frame at 322 pounds and is an athletic lineman who excels on pull blocks. While he has only been playing football for just a few years, Haynes projects as a mid-late round developmental lineman who can develop into a starter in a few years.
  5. WR Emmanuel Butler, Northern Arizona – It was somewhat of a down year for Butler, who missed most of 2017 with a shoulder injury and was limited to just eight games this past season for the Lumberjacks. However, his size and hands are two of his best assets, to go along with exceptional body control. He is oozing with talent if he can stay healthy.
  6. DE Kahzin Daniels, Charleston (WV) – While his counterpart John Cominsky has stolen most of the limelight leading up to the draft process, don’t sleep on Daniels, who possesses an extremely high motor, along with great hand usage. It wouldn’t be surprising if he got the call to join Cominsky in Indianapolis.
  7. S John Battle, LSU – One of the higher-rated prospects entering the event, Battle had a fairly strong week of practice with his ability to cover lots of ground and play up in the box. His size/speed combination should be amongst the top-tier of this year’s safety draft class and he shows a true nose for the football, as evidenced by his three interceptions this past season for the Tigers.
  8. RB Wes Hills, Slippery Rock – Shot out of a cannon, no one improved their draft stock this week more than Hills, who showcased his ability to run between the tackles or cut it outside and break a big run. He provided the highlight of the week, lowering his shoulder and barreling over Murray State linebacker Quincy Williams, walking over him like a used doormat.
  9. CB Jalin Burrell, New Mexico – This feisty cornerback was a pest to opposing wide outs throughout the week, staying on their hip and allowing few completions. He thrived during one-on-one sessions and possesses solid size, making him a candidate to hear his name called during the later rounds.
  10. ILB Jordan Kunaszyk, California – Coming off a season in which he accumulated 143 tackles and forced five fumbles, Kunaszyk is one of the more proven players in Pasadena. He appeared to be the most polished linebacker on either squad and showed surprising lateral quickness, along with a-plus instincts.
