USC quarterback Caleb Williams will, in fact, be part of the 2024 NFL Draft class.

The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner waited until the last minute to make his decision (per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport), as Monday's deadline for underclassmen to declare for this year's draft was looming.

Williams had a roller-coaster of a 2023 campaign, with more impressive highs, but plenty of lows that included a losing streak that cost his Trojans a shot at a conference title and a spot in the College Football Playoff.

As a prospect, though, Williams' elite physical tools and playmaking ability are still likely to make him the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, regardless of which team ends up with that pick on draft day. The Chicago Bears currently hold that pick, but they could choose to keep Justin Fields as their starting quarterback, and trade the No. 1 pick for a king's ransom for the second year in a row.
