Dare Rosenthal
Kentucky Wildcats

One-Liners

Dare Rosenthal is an inconsistent tackle prospect that could develop into something special with his elite physical tools.

Pros:

Dare Rosenthal is a behemoth of a human being with the ideal height and weight for an offensive tackle. He displays very good athletic ability for a guy of his size showcasing some good explosiveness when getting off the LOS. He has long arms and uses his length pretty well at his size. In the run game he does a good job sealing and using torque to create cut back lanes. When his hands are good he can create some movement in the run game. He is light on his feet like a dancing bear type of tackle. In pass pro he possesses good body control and balance to recover with solid core strength. He has enough foot quickness to mirror pass rushers. His physical upside is what teams look for and could still develop his play strength and be even stronger at his size.

Cons:

He struggles with consistency which leads to some wasted movement and technique can be affected. Overall as a run blocker he struggles with aiming points and plays with his hands too wide and pad level too high. His UOH are very inconsistent, struggling with hand placement, timing and lacks some shock. He lacks flexibility and his anchor is very inconsistent and struggles with more refined pass rushers.

Summary:

Dare Rosenthal projects to be a developmental project at the next level. He possesses the ideal physical tools with some athletic upside and needs to play with more consistency. He struggles with his hands in pass pro and run blocking and needs to play better with his pad level.

Background:

Dare Rosenthal was born in Ferriday, Louisiana and has 5 siblings. He majors in community and leadership development. His dream job after football is to host a talk show. He was the top rate Defensive Tackle prospect in Louisiana and the 18th ranked DT in the country. He started off his college career at LSU and redshirted in 2018. In 2019 he appeared in 5 games and started 3 games at left guard. He started 5 of 7 games in 2020. Then he transferred to Kentucky in 2021 and started 12 of 13 games at left tackle.
