Kiyuanta Goodwin, a 14-year-old offensive lineman from Louisville, has yet to play a down of high school football, but he already has nine college scholarship offers, including offers from Alabama and Florida State.

Size has a lot to do with the early interest in Goodwin, who recently completed eighth grade.

The Louisville Courier-Journal reported that the 6-foot-7, 370-pound Goodwin tweeted on Saturday that he received the offer from Florida State, and on Sunday he tweeted he got the offer from Alabama.

Goodwin attended camps at both schools over the weekend, according to 247sports.com.

Goodwin, who will play high school football at Holy Cross High School in Louisville after attending middle school at Olmsted Academy North, also has offers from Kentucky, Georgia and LSU, among others.

Goodwin’s trainer, Chris Vaughn, confirmed the offers to the Courier-Journal.

Vaughn told Bleacher Report earlier this year: “I’ve been blessed to work with a lot of kids who are genetically blessed, but he’s different. He’s the 1 percent of the 1 percent. I’ve talked with coaches who have told me he’s going to be the No. 1 player in the country and the No. 1 draft pick.”
