NFL Free Agent report for tight end Josh Ealy who participated in the HUB CAMP event.
HUB-Nov22-136

JOSH EALY

Valdosta State | TE | 6026 | 224 | 0900 | 3228 | 7878

Evaluation:

A well-rounded tight end, Ealy can line up in an array of spots on the field, including in the slot, out wide or in the backfield. A physical player, he makes excellent use of his hands when blocking and uses his body well to create leverage in the pass game. He flashes dependable hands, along with above average athleticism and adequate footwork. Ealy has shown that he is willing to put his body on the line and do whatever it takes to contribute. While he lacks prototypical height, he does compensate with long arms and a big catch radius. His ideal role would likely be as an h-back type who could moonlight at various spots.

Background:

Wore #4 at HUB Football CAMP on 11/13/22. Played for Jacksonville Sharks in 2022. Finished his career at Valdosta State after transferring from Delaware State. Was converted from defensive end/linebacker to tight end; made the switch in 20220. Has also played wide receiver.
