The New York Jets and their new starting quarterback will be on display in six different standalone windows during their 17-game regular season schedule.

The National Football League unveiled the complete 2023 NFL Schedule powered by AWS on Thursday evening and Gang Green landed six featured games, including ESPN's Monday Night Football season opener and the first-ever NFL Black Friday game on Prime Video.

Outside of the Black Friday affair, which kicks off at 3:00 pm ET, the Jets will make five primetime appearances in 2023. It starts in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. The Green & White will host their AFC East rival on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on America.

"The Jets having Aaron Rodgers now, and, thankfully, that deal got done before our schedule came out. His first game was gonna have a lot of interest, no two ways around it," said Mike North, the NFL VP of Broadcast Planning, on "One Bills Live" Thursday afternoon.

The MNF lid-lifter kicks off a challenging four-week stretch to start the season. Although three of the first four contests will be played within the friendly confines of MetLife Stadium, the Jets will face three 2022 playoff participants, including two division champions, during the opening month.

Gang Green travels to Dallas for a Week 2 battle with the Cowboys, who are coming off back-to-back 12-5 seasons and were a wildcard team last fall.

After a Week 3 home game against AFC East villain Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, the Jets will host the Super Bowl LVII champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4 (Oct. 1) on Sunday Night Football.

The Jets will play in the spotlight thrice during November. They kick off the month with back-to-back primetime dates with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders. Gang Green will welcome the Chargers to East Rutherford for Monday Night Football on November 6. Six days later, Robert Saleh's team will visit the Silver & Black for a Week 10 affair on Sunday Night Football (Nov. 12).

The Jets last appeared on Sunday Night Football, which is usually the highest-rated television slot of the NFL weekly schedule, during the 2011 season.

On November 24, the day after Thanksgiving, the Green & White will make NFL history by hosting the Miami Dolphins in a Black Friday affair at 3:00 pm ET on Prime Video. According to the NFL, viewers will not need an Amazon Prime subscription to access the live stream.

The Jets have become a primetime darling since the arrival of four-time NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Thursday's schedule announcement proved it. Gang Green will appear in a sixth regular season standalone time slot with a Week 17 trip to the Cleveland Browns for Thursday Night Football on December 28.

Gang Green appeared in one standalone primetime window last season - a Thursday Night Football game against the small-market Jacksonville Jaguars on December 22, 2022.

This year's TNF game will follow the Jets' home finale, which is set for Christmas Eve against the Washington Commanders.

On Sunday, a source told Jets Country to expect a MNF appearance for the Green & White in Week 1. The opponent was initially reported to be the New York Giants, but that tentative schedule arrangement changed at the 11th hour. Instead, the Jets-Giants game will happen in Week 8 (Oct. 29).

The Jets' AFC East games are scattered throughout the schedule. Only two of the season's final six games come against division foes.

Gang Green will enjoy a three-game home stretch starting with the NFL Black Friday game before ending the regular season with three of four contests on the road.

Nine of the 17 scheduled games pit the Jets against a team that qualified for the NFL Playoffs in 2022.
