Steelers Finalize 53-Man Roster
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers' 53-man roster is set. After months of training and three exhibition games, the black and gold have officially trimmed their team from 90 to 53 as they enter the regular season.
The Steelers made two trades prior to their initial roster, sending Kendrick Green to the Houston Texans and Kevin Dotson to the Los Angeles Rams.
In a somewhat surprising move, Pittsburgh has decided to keep two punters on their roster heading into Week 1. The team has also decided to keep six wide receivers and just four inside linebackers.
