Steelers Facing Huge Playoff Swing Against Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11 matchup with the Browns could be a make-or-break game for their playoff hopes.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are in their driver's seat with their playoff hopes this season, and sitting at 6-3 with a chance to sweep the Cleveland Browns, their postseason plans could be made or broken in Week 11.

According to Pro Football Focus, if the Steelers defeat the Browns this weekend, their playoff odds skyrocket to a solid 79%. However, if they lose, those odds fall to 46%.

The Steelers will face back-to-back backup quarterbacks, but both within the AFC North over the next two weeks. Against the Browns, it's rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Then, next week, they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in their first game since shutting down Joe Burrow for the rest of the season.

With a win over the Browns, the Steelers remain a half-game back from the Baltimore Ravens for the top spot in the AFC North. With a win over Baltimore earlier in the year, they could take this race into Week 18 where the two rivals will square off for the final regular season showdown.

Pittsburgh is 2.5 point underdogs against the Browns, according to SI Sportsbook. They'll be looking to beat that narrative and keep their playoff hopes high as they enter the second-half of their schedule.
