LOOK: Houston Texans Reveal Week 3 Uniforms at Jaguars
As they look to break into the win column, the Houston Texans plan to wear their Deep Steel Blue uniforms and helmets with Liberty White pants for a Week 3 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced on social media this week.
This will mark the first time this regular season that the Texans have worn their Deep Steel Blue tops. Below is a look at what uniforms have been worn for each game to this point and the result the Texans had while donning said jerseys.
25-9 loss in Week 1 at Baltimore Ravens: Liberty White jerseys, Deep Steel Blue pants, Deep Steel Blue helmets
31-20 loss in Week 2 vs. Indianapolis Colts: Liberty White jerseys, Liberty White pants, Deep Steel Blue helmets
Houston hasn't yet worn their "Battle Red" alternate jerseys and helmets, but they plan to do so on three occasions this season. One of those times will be in their second matchup with the division-rival Jaguars this season, which will come in Week 12.
The Jaguars plan to wear their white uniform tops and white pants this Sunday against the Texans. As insignificant as that may seem, the high in Jacksonville on Sunday is slated to be 91 degrees. For a 1:00 ET start time in Florida in September, you're definitely better off being the team wearing the lighter colored uniforms.
As they look to rebound after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Jaguars are currently 9.5-point favorites over the Texans, one of the largest spreads in Week 3.
