CINCINNATI — Nasty Nati fell 72-66 to Friday Beers on Monday night to end a solid run in The Basketball Tournament. The quarterfinals came down to the three-point line and knifing guard FB guard Daishon Knight.

Tre Scott (21 points, two rebounds) had an instant-impact on the team but not many Nati players stayed efficient like the new addition.

Cool From Outside

Nasty Nati found a nice stroke from outside at the Cintas Center but it did not join them up the road in Dayton.

FB rained deep ball after deep ball to total an 11-of-30 final tally.

It wasn't highly efficient, but Nati matched with a 2-of-15 night on threes. When you give up 30 outside attempts, it doesn't have to be pretty to get burned.

Jacob Evans (nine points, six assists) and Jarron Cumberland (14 points, six rebounds) combined to go 0-of-4 from deep. Evans couldn't find a groove all night after crushing driving lanes and quick twitch triples in Cincinnati.

Tre Scott Towers

Tre Scott's impact came a little too late but still helped give the team a shot down the stretch. He was a menace in the lane with plenty of great dunks and a nose for the right weak spots in transition.

He was one of two players to hit a three and had a nice overall outing. His help on defense almost allowed the squad enough room for error to move on but fell short.

It was a nice showing in Year Two for this outfit.
