Report: CJ Fredrick to Miss Kansas State Game, Rest of Season Status Uncertain
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are playing another game without sharpshooter CJ Fredrick tonight. Jon Rothstein reported the guard will miss the Kansas State game and his status for the rest of the year is uncertain.
Fredrick suffered his latest hamstring setback against Oklahoma State and will now miss a third consecutive game.
The fickle hamstring saga continues for a player who can't find any consistent health luck in his career.
"I'm not quite sure," Miller said to Hoard about Fredrick's status the rest of the season earlier this week. "I'm not saying that in a frustrating way. I just think hamstrings are tricky as we all know in sports and so I think it's one of those things that he couldn't go back in the second half of the Oklahoma State game and he has not practiced since. So I'll update you guys when I know something."
Fredrick's averaging 6.1 points in 15 games this season.
