Weekly NET: Bearcats Drop in Rankings After Dominant Showing Against Tulsa
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats men's basketball team is riding a 3-0 win streak in the AAC, but they've fallen in the NET rankings after playing one game last week.
Cincinnati is down to No. 64 after being at No. 59 last week. They dominated Tulsa 90-69 on Thursday for their lone test of the week, but a surging SMU team took out Memphis and earned a more valuable win to move ahead of Cincinnati.
SMU's only conference loss came against Cincinnati 77-60, and they sit behind No. 3 Houston at No. 59 after being No. 66 last week. Memphis slotted behind Cincinnati falling from No. 63 to No. 66; UCF moved up from No. 85 to No. 81, and Wichita State moved up from No. 93 to No. 82 to round out AAC teams in the top-100.
Cincinnati faces No. 124 Temple on the road Tuesday and travels to play No. 165 East Carolina on Sunday.
