CINCINNATI — The Bearcats men's basketball team has plenty of size on the current roster and is looking for even more out of the 2023 recruiting class. Gai Chol announced on Twitter that Wes Miller's team offered him a scholarship on Wednesday.

The four-star prospect is a seven-foot, 235-pound center from Decatur (Ga.) Greenforest McCalep Christian Academy. He moved to the United States from South Sudan in 2017 and is quickly picking up the game. The seven-footer can play at all three levels of the floor as he learns to be a modern big man.

According to 247Sports, Chol is ranked 76th in the Class of 2023 and slots in at No. 9 among all centers. He currently has nine offers, including Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, St. John's, Texas Tech, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Xavier, and Cincinnati.

UC's 2022 class is ranked 28th overall by 247Sports and only Houston slots higher than the Bearcats among AAC teams. Cincinnati currently doesn't have any commits from the Class of 2023.
