Weekly NET: Cincinnati Trending Down, But Still Stable in NET Ranking

The Bearcats run of lowly opponents is coming to an end.

CINCINNATI — UC men's basketball has whooped plenty of bad teams so far this season and lost to the only good opponents it's faced as we start up our run of Weekly NETs this season.

Cincinnati currently sits at No. 42 nationally in the NET ranking and seventh among Big 12 teams.

The team is 8-0 in Quad 4 games, 2-0 in Quad 3 games, and 0-2 in Quad 1 games. UC gets six consecutive Q1/Q2 matchups to start conference play following a Q3 matchup against Evansville on Friday. As of this writing, UC has 13 Q1/Q2 games left to six Q3/Q4 bouts remaining on the schedule.

The Bearcats slotted in at No. 14 on the first set of rankings and have slowly trickled down the list.
