CINCINNATI — The Bearcats missed Aziz Bandaogo's (back) offensive impact on Saturday night as he sat out of the Baylor game due to a flare-up with his back.

Head coach Wes Miller updated the forward's status after the 62-59 loss.

"He did something medically the last couple of days to try to help his back that kept him from being able to play tonight," Miller said after the game. "I'm not qualified to speak on the specifics of it. So I'm not going to try. But he was not cleared by our medical team to play. We'll reevaluate in the next couple of days as we get back home. I know he feels better like he's said that to me multiple times in the last 24 hours. So I'm hoping that we'll get him back real soon."

Bandaogo is the most impactful player on UC's roster when he plays, holding the top offensive and defensive rating differential on the team (plus 49.6 points).

Cincinnati has unfortunately sported just one game with a full roster this season in Jamille Reynolds's debut against Dayton. Getting a full squad, including CJ Fredrick, on the floor couldn't hurt their chances in the toughest conference in America.
