Bearcats Land Commitment From West Virginia Transfer Linebacker Jared Bartlett

UC has notched four commitments on Sunday alone.

CINCINNATI — Four transfer commitments in one day for Cincinnati football as the program continued beefing up the trenches with West Virginia transfer linebacker Jared Bartlett.

The veteran pass rusher has one year of eligibility left after posting 49 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery across 578 snaps in 2023. It amounted to a 56.7 PFF grade, the lowest since his freshman season in 2019.

Bartlett should compete in the defensive end rotation as Cincinnati searches for a premier edge rusher out of that group. UC has added three defensive transfers this weekend in Darian Varner, Logan Wilson, and Bartlett.
