CINCINNATI — The recruiting churn keeps pumping along as Cincinnati football starts Spring Practice.

We have a few notable nuggets from the trail to touch on, starting with an offer to three-star 2024 quarterback Luke Moga out of Sunnyslope (Arizona).

According to 247Sports, Moga is the 541st-ranked player nationally and the 33rd-rated quarterback.

He holds 24 offers from schools like BYU, and Arizona State.

Moga is a raw firecracker at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds.

He has an uncanny playmaking sense and leans on his game-breaking speed to get out of tough spots. He could use some work on throw velocity and motion, but the traits are there to work with.

Moga's a threat to house any scramble he goes on, and is another dual-threat talent that seems like a staple model for Scott Satterfield's offense.

Next is 2024 three-star linebacker D'Angelo Barber out of Clay-Chalkville (Alabama).

Content is unavailable

According to 247Sports, Barber is the 469-ranked player nationally and the 38-rated linebacker.

He holds 19 offers from schools like Auburn and Alabama.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound bruiser racked up 115 tackles and 9 TFLs in 2022 in large part due to his great form in pursuit of ballcarriers. Barber is a sound open-field tackler.

His eyes stand out the most on tape. He does a great job tracking QB's plans in coverage and can make plays on the ball when it's in his area.

Following Barber is 2024 three-star linebacker Davhon Keys out of Aledo (Texas).

According to 247Sports, Keys is the 417th-ranked player nationally and the 32-rated linebacker.

He holds 22 offers from schools like Baylor and Arizona.

Keys can do a little bit of everything at the middle linebacker position. The 6-foot, 215-pound bruiser has great hands for his position and even better eyes on the quarterback in zone coverage.

He hits like a MAC truck and has great ball awareness when he goes for strips on muddy plays. He needs to add weight to stick as a Power-Five linebacker, but he has all the tools to lead UC's defense.

Staying on defense, we have an offer for four-star running back Micahi Danzy out of Florida State University School (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Danzy is the 274th-ranked player nationally and the 30th-rated athlete.

He holds 22 offers from schools like Florida and Arkansas.

The 6-foot, 165-pound rusher is a nice north-south running back. He often ran from under center and allowed his blocks to set up nicely before getting downhill for big gains.

Danzy didn't display a ton of moves in the open field but made up for it by squeezing every yard out of his carries. He has an ideal style for Satterfield's zone rushing scheme that requires good timing on hitting holes.

We close the roundup with an offer to 2024 four-star athlete PJ Woodland out of Oak Grove (Mississippi).

According to 247Sports, Woodland is the 320th-ranked player nationally and the 40th-rated athlete.

He holds 14 offers from schools like Tennessee and Louisville.

Woodland defines "athlete" as its hard to distinguish his offensive and defensive talents. Things probably lean a bit towards the latter, given his great ball skills and sticky coverage techniques snap-to-snap.

Woodland is a versatile defender who could slot into Bryan Brown's scheme as an outside corner, nickel, or safety. He could be a good wide receiver as well, showing a sound ability to separate all while flashing some nice outside-in juke moves.

How much he adds to that 6-foot, 165-pound frame over the offseason is something to watch.
