CINCINNATI — Phil Steele recently unveiled his preseason All-American and All-Conference teams, with plenty of Bearcats getting mentioned. Three players made the All-American team, and 17 total made the All-AAC team. Junior linebacker Deshawn Pace (second-team), junior center Jake Renfro (third-team), and senior punt returner/running back Ryan Montgomery all made the All-American team (fourth-team).

If this list is any indication, Steele doesn't expect much of a falloff for the Bearcats as they try to win a third third-straight AAC Championship this fall.

Members of the preseason All-AAC team are listed below:

First Team

LB Deshawn Pace

C Jake Renfro

RB Ryan Montgomery

WR Nick Mardner

OT Dylan O'Quinn

DE Jabari Taylor

Second Team

OG Jeremy Cooper

OT James Tunstall

DT Jowon Briggs

LB Ivan Pace Jr.

Third Team

TE Josh Whyle

LB Wison Huber

OG Lorenz Metz

CB Arquon Bush

P Mason Fletcher

LS Cayson Pfeiffer

KR Tre Tucker

Fourth Team

WR Tre Tucker
