The Bearcats second-leading sack artist is a menace in the middle.

CINCINNATI — UC senior defensive tackle Jowon Briggs is picking up right where Curtis Brooks left off last year. Briggs, along with fellow trench teammates Dontay Dorleone and Dominique Perry, are huge reasons why UC's defense hasn't fallen off much.

The trio is the first step towards UC's havoc creation, which has owns top-five marks nationally in tackles for loss and sacks as a team.

Briggs (26 tackles, three sacks) is second on the defense in sacks, and we discussed his 2022 season following practice this week.
