CINCINNATI — The Bearcats just offered a budding star out of the Class of 2023 in four-star wing Mayar Wol from Moravian Prep (North Carolina).

According to 247Sports, Wol is the 88th-ranked player nationally and the 19th-ranked power forward. He holds eight offers from schools like Ohio, Ole Miss, and Georgia Tech.

People are starting to notice the smooth operation out of this 6-foot-8, 190-pound package. Wol is a great ballhandler for his size that knows the most efficient way to score is getting right to the cup. Wol has a skinny frame and an even better shot diet. He doesn't waste too many attempts on mid-range shots, all while flashing a nice stroke on corner threes and the foundation of a killer pull-up jump shot.

“I’m a very versatile wing,” Wol told On3 last week. “I can bring the ball up the floor like a point guard, I’m a three-level scorer, and can use my length to defend. I watch a lot of Kevin Durant; the way he plays offensively creates space and gets into his shot.”

Wol has started exploding in his development and could be one of the 50-best players nationally once the final consensus rankings get set in stone.
