Mario Eugenio Lone Bearcat Recruit to Land on Latest SI99 Update

According to 247Sports, the edge rusher is Cincinnati's highest-ranked defensive recruit in team history.

CINCINNATI — The latest version of the 2022 SI99 dropped today, and Cincinnati has one recruit on the list. Defensive end Mario Eugenio checked in at No. 93.

Eugenio fell 22 spots from No. 71 in the most recent version of the rankings. The edge rusher is Cincinnati's top-ranked defensive recruit in the 247Sports era.

The Bearcats 2022 class is mostly set in stone after every commit besides Danny Lewis signed their NLIs last month. The Louisiana tight end reopened his recruitment after Mike Denbrock left for LSU.

Cincinnati has steadily raised its recruiting talent over the past few years and the next step is landing multiple SI99 recruits. UC is one of 25 schools across the country to get a commitment from a 2022 SI99 recruit.
