2024 Four-Star Guard Curtis Givens III Names Top 7 Schools

Georgia Tech makes the cut for a top 100 player in the 2024 class

Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire got his first commitment last week for the 2023 class and now he is working hard to land his first high school prospect in the class of 2024.

While he has yet to land anyone in the class, he seems to be making headway with one of the top guards in the country.

Curtis Givens III (Montverde, FL) named his top seven schools today and included among them is the Yellow Jackets.

LSU, Memphis, Texas, UConn, Indiana, and Villanova are the other schools that made Givens's top 7.

That is a great group of schools to be competing against for a top prospect. UConn is fresh off of a national championship and among the favorites to win it again next season. Memphis, Indiana, Texas, and Villanova are powerhouse schools in recruiting.

Givens is ranked No. 74 overall in the 247Sports Composite and the No. 10 point guard in the country. One of the ways that Georgia Tech can get back to winning games and making the postseason is by winning recruiting battles such as these and while there is still plenty of time for Givens to make his decision, making the top seven is a nice first step for Stoudamire and his staff.

Last week, Georgia Tech landed 2023 four-star forward Baye Ndongo, a former Rutgers commit.
