Georgia Tech Transfer Target Jordan Minor Commits to Virginia

While Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire has the Yellow Jackets with the 9th-best transfer class according to 247Sports, he is not going to get every transfer target that he is interested in. 

Merrimack transfer Jordan Minor is heading to another ACC school instead. He tweeted earlier today that he is going to play for the Virginia Cavaliers. 

Last month, it was reported that Georgia Tech had reached out to Minor and was showing interest in trying to get him to play in Atlanta. 

Minor is the reigning Co-NEC player of the year and defensive player of the year.

Georgia Tech is currently undergoing heavy turnover on its roster. Leading scorer Miles Kelly is declaring for the draft (while maintaining his collegiate eligibility) while Tristan Maxwell, Jordan Meka, Freds Pauls Bagatskis, Cyril Martynov, and Rodney Howard are going to enter the transfer portal.

The Yellow Jackets have brought in Florida transfer Kowacie Reeves and NC State transfer Ebenezer Dowuona, who will likely have to play big roles as newcomers next season. 

This team is going to look a lot different in the first year under Stoudamire as the program tries to get back to winning.
