For Georgia Tech, they are hoping that the third time is the charm when facing Pitt.

After earning a thrilling win in the final seconds against Florida State on Tuesday, Georgia Tech must face Pitt in the second round of the 2023 ACC Tournament. Pitt nearly won a share of the conference title, but their loss to Miami this past weekend sent them from a double bye in the tournament to be the fifth see.

Georgia Tech has played well against the Panthers in the previous matchups and while they are going to be underdogs, the Yellow Jackets are capable of pulling this upset.

The Yellow Jackets are going to have to have a better start than they did yesterday against the Seminoles. The offense had a tough time getting anything going, but they were pretty good in the second half. Ja'von Franklin had a big double-double and Miles Kelly was scoring the ball well toward the end of the game.

Tech is on a four-game winning streak and they hope to extend that today against the Panthers.

17:15- Media timeout. A 6-0 run from Georgia Tech cuts the lead to five. Yellow Jackets have hit four of their last five shots

14:41- Media timeout. Georgia Tech is trailing only by one now, 50-49. 19-6 run for the Yellow Jackets to start the second half and they have hit their last three shots.

11:55- Media Timeout. The game is now tied 52-52. Kelly just called for his second foul

10:15- Georgia Tech timeout. Tech trails by one, 58-57
