2024 Three-Star Linebacker Demontrae Gaston Commits to Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech lands their fifth 2024 commitment with Gaston

Georgia Tech is keeping its recruiting momentum going to start the month of April.

2024 three-star linebacker Demontrae Gaston (Pensacola, FL) committed to the Yellow Jackets tonight, giving head coach Brent Key and his staff their fifth commit of the 2024 recruiting class.

Gaston is rated a three-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite and is ranked as the 686th prospect in the country and the 66th linebacker.

Gaston (6'1, 200 LBS) also had offers from Wake Forest, Tulane, Memphis, and FAU, among others.

He is a speedy linebacker that moves well and sheds blocks with ease. He will likely need to grow into his frame once he reaches Atlanta, but he projects well at the next level with the right coaching and development.

The 2024 class for Georgia Tech is headlined by four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA). Williams has been the building block for Key in this class and is going to be the quarterback of the future for the Yellow Jackets.

2024 Commitments

  • Jakhari Williams (QB)
  • Duke Watson (RB)
  • Santana Alo-Tupuola (IOL)
  • Jordan Boyd (DE/LB)
  • Demontrae Gaston (LB)
