2024 tight end Lane Wadle commits to Georgia Tech
Following a two-day visit this week, 2024 tight end Lane Wadle, a standout at Greenfield-Central High School (IND), has officially announced his commitment to the Yellow Jackets' class.
After his de-commitment from Northern Illinois earlier this week, the Jackets were able to sell Wadle on their vision for him as a part of the offense and add the talented tight end to a 2024 class chock-full of potential.
Wadle is rated as the No. 79 tight end and the No. 21 player in the state of Indiana. He chose Tech over offers from Air Force, Ball State, Georgia State, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
It is no secret that Tech's tight end position has been lacking for a few years, but Buster Faulkner's new offense could make the tight end position a crucial one for the Jackets. Wadle joins Brett Seither and Jackson Long as additions to a room that is poised to reach new heights in 2023.
The 2024 class for Georgia Tech is currently ranked 24th in the country on Rivals and 23rd on 247Sports.
