Georgia Tech Reveals Captains For White And Gold Spring Game

Georgia Tech's spring game is set for 1:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon

The White and Gold Spring game for Georgia Tech is only one day away and it will be the first spring game for head coach Brent Key.

Ahead of tomorrow's spring game, Key named the captains:

Safety LaMiles Brooks, defensive lineman Akelo Stone, offensive lineman Jordan Williams, and tight end Dylan Leonard are going to be the captains for tomorrow's game. All four players are veterans of this team and are expected to be big contributors for the Yellow Jackets this fall.

Williams started the season out at right tackle last season before kicking inside to guard toward the end of the season. He is likely the leader to be the starting right guard this season and is a talented player.

Brooks finished the 2022 season with 52 tackles and a team-leading three interceptions. His best performance came in a loss to Virginia when he finished with nine tackles and a pick-six. Brooks was the best player on the field that night and I expect more performances like that from Brooks in the future.

During the 2022 season, Leonard led the tight ends with 90 yards receiving on 11 catches and zero touchdowns.

Stone had 12 tackles and one sack last season and will be a key player in the defensive line rotation this season.
