Keion White Ranked Among Top Defensive Ends in 2023 NFL Draft By Mel Kiper
A little more than a month out from the 2023 NFL Draft, Keion White is still being talked about as one of the draft's best defensive linemen.
ESPN Draft analyst Mel Kiper has been a fan of White for a few months and today, he ranked him among the top five defensive ends in the draft. Oddly enough, however, Kiper did not have White going in the first round of his latest mock draft which was also released today.
The defensive ends ranked above him include Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech), Lukas Van Ness (Iowa), Felix Anudkie-Uzomah (Kansas State), and Myles Murphy (Clemson).
In previous mock drafts, Kiper has had White slotted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 19th pick. Another prominent NFL Draft analyst, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, also released his updated mock draft today and it also did not feature White. Jeremiah had White going to the Dallas Cowboys in the first round in his previous version of his mock draft.
No other Georgia Tech players were included in Kiper's positional rankings.
White played in all 12 games for Georgia Tech last season and led the team with 7.5 sacks and was named third-team All-ACC.
