WATCH: Devin Leary finds Ray Davis to give the Cats an early lead
Kentucky had a rough showing against the Georgia Bulldogs last week, and many believed the team would be fired up for this game against Missouri thanks to the poor showing a week before.
This is precisely what we have seen as the Kentucky defense got a quick three and out, and then the offense took the ball right down the field to score.
What we saw on that Kentucky drive was just how good of a play caller Liam Coen truly is; he's just gifted.
Coaches plan a script for their first few plays of the game, and those plays OC Coen scripted worked to perfection.
The Cats drove down the field in 4:46 and were able to score a touchdown to cap the nine-play drive.
Devin Leary found running back Ray Davis in the back of the end zone to give the Cats an early 7-0 lead over Missouri.
Kroger Field is electric this evening, and clearly, the Cats came to play.
Let's take a look at the touchdown from Leary to Davis.
