WATCH: Josh Kattus scores his first collegiate touchdown against Akron
We wanted to see the offense come out firing against the Akron Zips, and Devin Leary delivered.
The Cats went down the field in seven plays and scored a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead over Akron.
Leary was able to connect with Josh Kattus for a touchdown, which happened to be the first touchdown of Kattus's young college football career.
This was an all-around great drive where Leary showed off the arm and his wheels.
This is the best energy we have seen to start a game so far this season, which has to make Kentucky fans feel better as we near the start of SEC play.
Let's take a look at the six-yard touchdown pass from Leary to Kattus that got Kentucky on the board first.
