Kentucky opens as a heavy favorite over the Vanderbilt Commodores

Vegas thinks Kentucky will start SEC play 1-0.

Kentucky is set to head into SEC play 3-0 after wins over Ball State, EKU, and Akron.

Now it's time to play some real competition as the Wildcats are set to begin conference play.

UK gets to start SEC play with one of their easier tests in Vanderbilt, but this game is in Nashville, and the Commodores did beat the Cats a season ago.

If all goes to plan, the Cats should win this football game and start SEC play 1-0, but they need to play well.

I expect the defense to travel and play well, but the offense needs to put up some points against the Commodores.

Vandy can score but doesn't have a very good defense, so the Cats need to score a lot of points.

I expect Kentucky starting quarterback Devin Leary to have over 300 yards in this ball game and a few scores.

Let's take a look at what Las Vegas has to say about the Cats matchup with the Vanderbilt Commodores.
