Kentucky Briefing: Wake up Cats fans it's time to take down the Akron Zips
Wake up, Cats fans; it's football time in the Bluegrass as the Akron Zips are in town.
Kentucky will have one final test against Akron, where they will hopefully get the offense flowing correctly, and the defense needs to get some third-down stops.
SEC play is right around the corner as the Cats will head to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores next Saturday.
Another thing that needs to be fixed before conference play is the receiver drops. Leary is putting the ball on the money a lot, but it's being dropped by the Wildcats receivers.
If this offense is going to put up points against SEC defenses, wideouts need to reel in these passes.
This is going to be a fun football game where, hopefully, the Cats put a ton of points on the board under the lights in Kroger Field.
Nothing beats a fall night watching the Cats play football, and the Big Blue Nation will get to enjoy that this evening.
