Kentucky needs to get the ball to Barion Brown in space
Kentucky's offense has not flowed well two games into the season, but one thing that could change that is forcing the ball into Barion Brown's hands.
Brown is one of the most electrifying skill players in college football, and they need to find creative ways to get the football in his hands.
Brown caught six passes for 51 yards plus a score and had two carries for 34 yards in this game, proving that he does a lot with touches.
He averaged over ten yards a touch against EKU. Brown needs to touch the ball at least ten times every single time Kentucky steps on the field.
Hopefully, he will get more than ten touches against Akron on Saturday, as it is clear Brown can make magic happen with the football in his hands.
The more you get the ball to Brown, the more likely he will break a big play and take it to the house.
Liam Coen started getting the ball to Brown more in the second half, and the Cats moved the ball well.
This should be a priority once SEC play begins in two weeks.
