Former Kentucky running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. will suit up for the Washington Commanders on Sunday
Former Kentucky running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. is set to make his NFL debut on Sunday as the Washington Commanders take on the Arizona Cardinals.
During the NFL preseason, Rodriguez Jr. carried the ball 17 times for 122 and caught one pass for four yards.
This was enough to get him on the roster for the Commander's season opener against the Cardinals on Sunday at 1 pm et.
CRod will be the third running back on the depth chart behind Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson.
He will get in the field in some capacity on special teams but is an injury to Robinson Jr. or Gibson away from having a significant role on this team.
It will be fun to watch the former Kentucky running back run out onto an NFL field and represent the University of Kentucky well.
Good luck to Rodriguez Jr., and it will be a lot of fun to watch his NFL career start.
