The Cats took a big drop in the ESPN FPI rankings after a blowout loss to #1 Georgia
Kentucky went on the road to take on the #1 Georgia Bulldogs in a game many in the Big Blue Nation hoped they would compete well in, and this didn't come to fruition.
Despite some good play-calling from offensive coordinator Liam Coen, they lost 51-13 and were never in the game.
Heading into this ball game, the Cats were ranked 31st in the ESPN FPI rankings now, after the blowout loss, the Cats dropped all the way down to 38th.
Kentucky's projected record dropped from 7.9-4.1 to 7.3-4.7.
The Wildcat's chances of winning six-plus games decreased from 97.1% to 94.2% after losing on the road to the best team in college football.
Kentucky's chances of winning the SEC East dropped from 6.4% to 0.6% after losing to the favorite to win the division.
The FPI rankings give the Cats a 55.7% chance to take down the Missouri Tigers on Saturday.
If they do so, Kentucky will likely move up a few spots on the ESPN FPI rankings heading into the bye week.
