After his week one performance Ray Davis was tabbed a top-ten transfer in college football
Kentucky landed one of the best running backs in the transfer portal when former Vanderbilt Commodore Ray Davis decided to finish his college football career in Lexington.
Many expect a big season from Davis, and he got that started in a big way against Ball State when the Kentucky running back had 112 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.
This gives Davis a whopping eight yards per carry to start off his 2023 campaign.
This performance against Ball State got Davis some praise as he was tabbed a top-ten transfer in college football after the first week.
Davis's name was up there with names like Travis Hunter, Keon Coleman, Shedeur Sanders, and Sam Hartman.
The five-foot-ten running back totaling over a hundred yards in his first Kentucky game gives him a real shot to get over 1,000 in 2023.
I expect another big game on the way for Davis against EKU on Saturday.
