Kentucky moved up in the ESPN FPI rankings after a road win over Vanderbilt

The Wildcats are moving up in ESPN's FPI rankings.

After hitting the road and beating up on the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Kentucky Wildcats jumped from the 40 spot to the 36 spot in the ESPN FPI rankings.

Kentucky's projected record jumped from 6.7-5.3 to 7.1-4.9.

The Cat's chances of winning six or more games jumped from 78.2% to 85.9% after the big win in Music City.

Kentucky's chances of winning the SEC East rose from 2.1% to 3.1% after starting conference play 1-0.

Now, the Cats will host the Florida Gators, who are ranked 22nd in the AP Poll and 31st in the FPI rankings.

The FPI metrics give Kentucky a 52.1% chance to take down the ranked Gators on Saturday.

If Kentucky is able to get a big, ranked win in front of the Big Blue Nation, they will surely take a big lead in the ESPN FPI numbers for next week.
