In this story:

Ray Davis was a thousand-yard rusher for the Vanderbilt Commodores a season ago, and the question is, will he put up similar numbers a few hours north playing for the Cats?

One thing that will be vitally important to this rushing attack is how good the offensive line can be in 2023.

They weren't great protecting Will Levis last season but did create holes for Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Davis and the Big Blue Wall working in sync will be essential for this team, as the Cats love to run behind the big uglies up front.

We have heard positive reports out of fall camp that lead me to believe this rushing attack will be dominant in 2023 and will make Devin Leary better if the defense is guessing what play is coming.

I think Davis will be a top-five back in the SEC this season and will rush for 1,200+ yards for the Cats.

To go with that prediction, I think the offensive line will be the most improved in the SEC this year.

Andrew Stefaniak wrote about some former Kentucky basketball players who were listed on the top 25 SEC basketball players of the past decade list.

"The Wildcats had eight players listed in the Top 25, which was the most of any school by a wide margin."
