Georgia is top ten nationally on third down on both sides of the ball
The Kentucky Wildcats are putting their undefeated record and 20th overall ranking in the AP Poll on the line this Saturday as they take on the #1 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens.
It's not hard to find things the Dawgs are good at, but one thing that stood out is how good they have been on third down on both sides of the football.
Georgia is sixth in college football in getting stops on third down on defense and seventh in college football at converting on third down on offense.
Kentucky has struggled defensively on third down early in the year, but those numbers are improving every week.
After looking at all of these numbers, it seems like the Cats need to find a way to get the Dawgs off the field on third down and convert when they have third downs on offense.
If Georgia continues to dominate with these numbers, this will be a really tough game for the Cats to win on the road in a hostile environment.
If Kentucky is good on third down in this football game, they have a chance to take down the kings of college football.
This game will be a fun one, and if the Cats pull off the upset of the year, Lexington will be absolutely bonkers.
