Maxwell Hairston earns National Defensive Player of the Week honors
Kentucky corner Maxwell Hairston had a massive game against Vanderbilt where he took two interceptions to the house.
This performance already earned Hairston SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors, but now he has earned National Player of the Week honors.
The sophomore from Michigan is having a big season for the Cats, so it's really cool to see him earning awards for his play on the field.
The Cats will need him to have another big game on Saturday as Graham Mertz and the Florida Gators come to town.
This Kentucky defense has been really good all season long, and Hairston is a big part of why.
Congrats to #31 on receiving these awesome honors after his big game in Nashville.
