Kentucky Briefing: Kentucky running back Ray Davis is fourth in the SEC in rushing yards
Four games into the season, Kentucky running back Ray Davis is fourth in the SEC in rushing yards with 314 yards.
The Vanderbilt transfer has five touchdowns on the ground and is averaging 6.3 yards per carry.
Davis is only averaging 12.5 carries per game so far this season, and looking at the numbers, it seems like they need to feed the Senior more.
Four games into the season, Davis has a real shot to lead the conference in rushing if he keeps his yards per carry numbers up and starts to get the ball more.
I think Davis has over 100 yards on the ground and a touchdown against the Florida Gators on Saturday.
The transfer has been as advertised up to this point in the season.
