Five-star Boogie Fland is set to commit; how should Kentucky fans feel heading into the decision?
Five-star combo guard Boogie Fland from White Plains, New York, is set to make his decision today, October 20th, at 2 pm ET.
Fland is ranked as the number 20 player in the 2024 class by 247Sports composite rankings.
When he announced he was committing today, it seemed like Indiana was the favorite to land the six-foot-two guard.
Now, over the past 24 hours, it seems like the Cats are making moves in the right direction to land this talented combo guard.
There were two crystal balls put into 247Sports, one last night and one this morning, that both have the Cats landing Fland.
When Coach Calipari really wants a player, he seems to always get them, and it seems like Cal wants this guy badly.
Fland would be the Cat's second commit in the 2024 class, joining Somto Cyril if he decides to play his college hoops in Lexington.
It seems like the Cats are leading down the final stretch, but we won't know anything for sure until we see a graphic saying he has committed to Kentucky.
If Coach Cal gets this done, this will hopefully get the ball rolling for some more talented players in the 2024 class.
