Kentucky Briefing: Kentucky basketball target Billy Richmond cuts his list of schools to four
One of Kentucky's big targets in the 2024 class on the hardwood is six-foot-six small forward Billy Richmond.
Richmond recently listed out his top four schools, which included Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, and Alabama.
Kentucky is the favorite currently in this race as On3's recruiting prediction machine gives the Cats an 87.4% chance to land Richmond, with the next closest competitor being Memphis at 4.9%.
Richmond was in Lexington for a visit in mid-September, and it sounds like it went well.
He attends Camden High School, which is where current Cats DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw went.
Hopefully, this high school connection will get Richmond to play his college hoops in Lexington.
I have seen Richmond play live, and he might be the most underrated player in the 2024 class. He is ranked 31st in the 247Sports composite rankings, and that feels way too low.
This kid will be special; hopefully, he will do that in Kentucky blue and white.
